U.S. Customs Form: CBP Form 434 – North American Free Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Form 434 is the special certificate of origin required to claim goods as originating in one of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) countries.  Goods imported along with this certificate of origin are typically exempt from all duties under the free trade agreement between Mexico, Canada and the United States.  The document is required to certify that the goods truly qualify under NAFTA provisions based on their actual source components.
